New Scrapbook Page-My Dad and his tractor and tomatoes

I used the Cricut to cut the farmer, tractor and wheat from the Everday Paper Dolls. I used gold Stickles on the tops of the wheat. The printed paper is from Colorbok and is called Haystacks.

A Jillian Vance Design Team Challange--County Fair--UR Tractor Card

With this card, I cut one tractor from Cricut Everyday Paper Dolls at 2 1/2" from green card stock and one from black cardstock. I cut the other four the same way at 3/4". I cut the wheels off of the black tractors and attached them to the tractors. Then I outlined the wheels on the large tractor with black Stickles. I added some bling to the tires with rhinestone brads. I placed "UR" stickers on the front of the tractor. All the tractors are mounted on a paper from Colorbok named " Haystacks". I mounted that on brown cardstock that I had distressed and inked the edges. The card is made with craft card stock. Inside I stamped "Outstanding in Your Field" from A Jillian Vance Design Down on the Farm set. This card would be a cute congratulations card for a child's accomplishment--such as a blue ribbon at the County Fair!

John Deere Card

Directions for this card:
I cheated a little on this card. I found the perfect die cut at Red Letter Journals. The tractor was already cut out for me. I added the gold brads to the wheels. I put a little
" Thank You" on gold cardstock. I used brown cardstock to mount the tractor and distressed the edges and inked them in chocolate brown. The card is made with craft card stock. Inside, You're a Deere" is stamped. This cute saying is from the Down on the Farm set of A Jillian Vance Designs stamps. I liked it because it is a good card for a male. Those are hard to find.

Love that witch!

Hello,

This is another witch card I designed with Jillian Vance design stamps.  I just love the witch from the Witchy Poo set!  I made the card on craft cardstock.  I cut the moon out of bright gold cardstock.  I liked the looks of the bare tree from the God's Art set for Halloween.  I also added the cute little owl from that set.  Inside it is stamped with the verse:

When witches go riding
and black cats are seen
The moon laughs and
whispers, tis Halloween.

That verse and many other adorable sayings are in the Witchy Poo set.

Until next time, happy scrappin',

Denise

Patchwork Halloween Card

Hi,

I designed this card using Sizzix Texture Fades Patchwork Embossing folder on black cardstock.  I added dimension to it by inking it with a Radiant Rain Dauber in Egyption Gold.  I made the moon in gold cardstock and then dabbed it with the same color dauber.  I then stamped the witch with Jillian Vance Design stamp from the Witchy Poo set.  I put the front on a craft cardstock card and stamped the inside with "Flying by to say Hi".  I have to say that this is one of my favorite designs.  The "13" on the patchwork texture just seems to pop out when you actually see the card.

Please comment and let me know what you think.

This is a card I made using orange cardstock.  I stamped "Free Broom Rides" with Jillian's Witchy Poo set. I used my Vagabond to run a page Sizzix Little Sizzles Hantung Texture Pad, Assorted Metals and Tim Holtz Alteration Texture Fades "Playing Games set t/o make the ticket.  cut it out by hand.  Inside of the card I stamped "Witch you were Here"  also from Jillian's set.

Busy, Busy!

Hello!

I know it has been a while since my last entry (which was also my first entry).  I have been busy card making and scrapbooking.  Last weekend I went to Amish country to a weekend crop with about 20 fellow scrappers.  I made a butterfly-shaped album that my friend Sumi gave me.  I also made lots of cards with Jillian's stamps.  I had so many ideas running through my head that I started to draw little pictures of the cards I wanted to design.  I took a card class on Monday and made a dozen cards.  Then yesterday I went to another all day crop at our church and finished covering two word albums (BASEBALL)  for my nephew, Brock.

This week my project will be to sort through my scrapbook room and see if there is anything that I can bear to part with, for a Scrapbook Garage Sale that my friends are having this Friday and Saturday in Plain City.  As one friend put it, we will all be our own best customers!  Busy, Busy!  Good thing I am retired!

Until next time, Happy Scrappin'!
