Cat Trio Witchy Wednesday tag

Hi,

This is a tag that I designed for A Jillian Vance Design Team. I used Craft Cardstock and Black Linen textured paper by Canson. The Black cats and Brooms and "Free Broom Rides"are from A Jillian Vance Design Team Witchy Poo stamp set which can be purchased at
http://www.ajillianvancedesign.com/
The ticket is a Tim Holtz Journaling Ticket. It is attached with the Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher. I wrapped Black Licorice Divine Twine around the tag and used black fiber and black and white gingham 3/16 inch ribbon for the top. Divine Twine may also be purchased at the above web site.

I welcome all comments!

One-Eyed Monster Card

I used A Jillian Vance Designs stamps to make this card. I absolutely love the "Eye on Halloween" set! You can find both sets that I used on this card and many more at

For this card, you will need:

A Jillian Vance Design "Eye on Halloween" set

A Jillian Vance Design " Spooky" set

Green, red, black, and ivory cardstock

Purple Honeycomb-textured cardstock

Cuttlebug Animal Prints Embossing folder

Sizzix Tim Holtz Rosette

Scallop Circle punch

Epiphany Shapes Studio Tool

Epiphany Bubble Caps Round 25

The eye and front saying are from A Jillian Vance Design " Eye on Halloween" set. I put the bubble on the eye with the Epiphany Tool and Bubble caps. The monster is made with a green rosette. Mouth and antenna are cut from a scalloped-circle punch. The purple background was embossed with Cuttlebug Animal Prints embossing folder. "eek!" and "Happy Hallow-scream" are from the A Jillian Vance design Spooky set. This little monster isn't too scary, do you think?

Check out these and other cards made by the design team at

New cards will be on the above blog on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays this month!

I would love to have you tell me what you think!

Until next time,

Denise

Grill and Candle Birthday Card for a Man

One of my favorite designs for a male card is this one.  I love craft cardstock for cards especially for men.  I used this for two men I know that turned the Big 5-0 this year.  I cut the grill from Cricut Everyday Paper Dolls with red cardstock.  I used a brick color of cardstock and ran it through my Sizzix Texture Fades in Brick to give it the real look of a brick patio.  "Grill Master",  "Where there is smoke, there are lots of candles!" and "Happy Birthday" are all from A Jillian Vance Design stamp set entitled " Celebrate Men".  (I like to think they appreciated the work put into it, even if they didn't appreciate what the verse inferred.)  Ha, Ha!   Got you aging guys!

Stiches and Hems card

Hi, Friends!  This card is made from paper from Doodlebug Designs, Inc. Nifty Notions collection.  I cut the sewing machine out from the paper also.  I like that some of the double-sided paper is in plain colors that coordinate with the prints.  The stiches are stamped, along with the sentiments, from A Jillian Vance Designs stamps.  They are super versitile as you can see!
